Cookies
What cookies are, which ones we use, and how to accept, reject, or clear them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can remember preferences or help operators understand how pages are used.
How we use cookies
Deployment Digital uses essential cookies (or local storage equivalents) to remember your cookie consent choice, and optional analytics cookies only if you accept them. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not block browsing, form use, or training information on this site.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| deployment_digital_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject for the consent banner | Until cleared (localStorage) | Deployment Digital |
| _dd_analytics (if accepted) | Counts anonymised page views on training and journal pages | Up to 6 months | Deployment Digital (first-party) |
| session_essential | Maintains basic site integrity during a visit when required by the host | Session | Hosting provider |
Exact analytics naming may vary slightly with hosting configuration; if analytics are disabled for a period, only the consent key remains active.
Managing cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner when it appears. You can clear localStorage and cookies through your browser settings for deployment.digital. After clearing, the banner may appear again. Browser controls can also block third-party cookies globally.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts may cause your browser to contact Google Fonts. Map or media hosts serving public images may receive standard request logs. We do not load advertising networks.
Impact of disabling
Essential consent storage only remembers your choice. Disabling or rejecting analytics means we will not use optional analytics cookies to measure page usefulness. Site content, contact forms, and training descriptions remain available.
